There are two qualities available:<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2671 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/berghuetten-gmbh.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/th_molyd_multi_shank.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"90\" height=\"204\"><\/p><p><strong>MD 31: for element temperatures up to max. 1700 \u00b0C<\/strong><br\/><strong>MD 33: for element temperatures up to max. 1800 \u00b0C<\/strong><\/p><p>At temperatures above 800 \u00b0C, a thin, adherent protective layer of quartz glass (SiO2) forms on the element surface, which gives the element good oxidation resistance.<\/p><p><strong>MOLY-D-Elements<\/strong> has a low specific electrical resistivity with a positive resistance-temperature characteristic. That means, if the temperature is increasing the resistance of <strong>Moly-D-Elements<\/strong> will increasing too. So, at a constantly voltage, Moly-D has a high element-power at a low temperatur which reduces the warm-up time of the furnace up to the operating-temperature and gives so an economical advantage<br\/>Because of its high temperature oxidation resistance, <strong>MOLY-D<\/strong> electrical resistance remains constant at constant temperature over its lifetime. This permits the use of old and new elements together in the same furnace, even if series-connected. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
