Ceramics including support tubes for industrial furnaces

Highly temperature-resistant

We deliver your ceramics

Berghütten offers industrial furnace manufacturers and operators a wide range of high temperature resistant ceramics which are mainly used in load-bearing structures for electric heating elements. Products range from pipes of different dimensions, to collar pipes, hooks, grooved plates, coil bodies, insulation beads, washers and fixing pins, to individual forms.

However, ceramics are also used in other areas and customers trust Berghütten there too. We have the experience and the means of production to shape ceramics through cutting, drilling, milling and adhesive bonding.

Assembled ceramic tubes

Ceramic pipes are indispensable components for industrial furnace manufacture in electric heating – but they’re also important for other uses and applications. Berghütten offers a wide selection of ceramic tubes in standard sizes available in stock. For special technical data, please refer to the following specifications.

Ceramics

One-piece collar pipes

Ceramic collar pipes are best used to carry metal-pin connection ends through the furnace wall for furnace ducts and to insulate current-carrying pins from the metal wall of the furnace. Berghütten offers a selection of these in standard dimensions at grade C 530. Grades C 610 and C 799 can be produced on request. In addition, custom dimensions can be tailored to customer requirements. The length range for the furnace wall thickness varies from a selection of up to 290 mm. We cut the collar pipe to length according to your specifications. For detailed technical specifications (e.g. for C 530 ceramic), please refer to our page on ceramic tubes.

Multipart glued collar pipes

For special dimensions which do not fit standard or customised dimensions, we also offer glued collar pipes. These consist of several fitted C 530 ceramic tube sections which are firmly joined with special glue. Send us your request with the dimensions needed, and we will gladly send you a quote.

Ceramics

Molded parts

Ceramic molded parts are used for various applications and in various dimensions and shapes in products from Berghütten. Typical applications are the so-called T-brackets for attaching heating meander to fiber shell insulations or ceramic discs used in heating coil candles and cage elements. We are constantly developing the quality and design of ceramic molded parts in close cooperation with our manufacturing plants and suppliers. For this reason, you will not find ceramic molded parts as a single product, but only in combination with other components such as metallic heating coils, as a coordinated mountain hut heating system or heating module. The only exceptions are ceramic pipes and collar pipes.
Insulation for stranded wires

Ceramics

Beads for insulation connection ends

Ceramic insulation beads are preferably used to insulate live connection ends and stranded wires. By stringing several beads together, a flexible and closed composite of ceramic insulation is created. Several types of insulation beads with different diameters are available. Send us your inquiry with the dimensions and a description of your application. We will be happy to provide you with a quote.
