Wide range of applications
Our stranded wires are used in many applications. During production, the individual wires with a diameter of between 0.15 and 0.5 mm are stranded together. This creates a highly flexible braid with excellent electrical and thermal properties.
Stranded strands and choked strands
During stranding, the outer wire layers are laid around the single wire in the middle. The core in the middle is surrounded by 6 individual wires. Depending on the design or requirements of the stranded wire, 12, then 18, 24 etc. further individual wires follow in the next layer. The individual wire layers are twisted together in opposite directions during the production of the strangle strand.
Depending on the application, different alloys (NiCr, CuNi, CrFeAl, pure nickel) and cross-sections with variable ohm values can be realized. By selecting the alloy, the individual wires and the lay length, a customized stranded wire can be produced depending on the application.
It is possible to produce the resistance/meter and the outer diameter of the stranded wire with the desired tolerances.
Different insulation options such as plastic, glass or quartz fiber can be used to further increase the temperature resistance as well as the chemical resistance of our strands.

Stranded wires from heatsealing band
up to 1,300 °C
For high-temperature applications up to 1,300 °C, CrFeAl heatsealing band and resistor alloys are used. These offer outstanding performance characteristics even at high temperatures and in harsh industrial environments.
These strands are installed in flexible heating elements that are used for the heat treatment of steels, for example in the pre- and post-treatment of welding seams or to reduce residual stresses in the welded or welded components.
By selecting the appropriate individual wires (alloy, diameter, number of wires), we can produce the desired stranded wire in the appropriate temperature class for these high operating temperatures.

Heat-resistant connection cables
In combination with the heat-resistant insulation types, we offer you a complete solution for your heat-resistant cables for electrical connections in “hot areas”. The pure nickel strands we use are particularly suitable for use as connection cables in warm and hot areas where “normal” cables no longer work. The great advantage of pure nickel strands is that they have low internal resistance and high temperature resistance.
We will be happy to supply you with suitable connecting cables, which we will straighten, cut to length and pack in the required quantities for you.
Areas of application
- Infrared radiators
- Quartz emitter
- Industrial heating systems
- Connection cables for heating cables
- Connection cable for other various heating systems
- Pipes that run through a hot area

Insulations for stranded wires
In the manufacture of resistance heating cables, various fluoropolymers with a temperature resistance of up to approx. 300 °C are used as insulation material. In order to insulate the high-temperature strands electrically even when hot, the strands are additionally coated with an insulating layer of glass or quartz fiber. This enables operating temperatures of over 1,300 °C.
Flexible cableInsulation with ceramic beads provides insulation that is not fixed to the stranded wire. These ceramics are resistant to high temperatures of up to 1,200 °C and can be used very flexibly. By stringing the beads together, a flexible yet closed ceramic insulation body is created. Ceramic insulation beads are available in various designs and with different diameters.
The insulation of the strands ensures high flexibility, high chemical resistance and mechanical resilience. The strands are therefore resistant to ageing and offer a high degree of flexibility in their use. The cable lengths can be produced endlessly. Minimum order quantity: 1,000 meters.
