CeraSys heating systems – system components ready for installation
in various temperature classes and designs

Berghütten® offers ready-to-install heating modules in various temperature classes and designs under the name CeraSys
They are constructed from vacuum-formed, ceramic molded fiber parts made of aluminum silicate and aluminum oxide and an integrated electrical heating system. The insulation is also available with biosoluble fibers up to temperatures of 1,100 °C. Experience from real applications shows that CeraSys heating modules can reduce energy consumption by up to 30 % compared to a conventional furnace design.

CS - 1300 Tubular elements
The CS – 1300 tubular heating elements are designed for maximum element temperatures of 1300 °C and are operated with a voltage of 230V or 400V.
The sizes range from 200 mm to 1200 mm in length and are between 80 mm and 300 mm in internal diameter. The windings are divided into different heating zones, which can be controlled separately if required.
To ensure a secure hold during furnace operation, the heating coils are fixed in the furnace with ceramic combs. To monitor the furnace chamber temperature, the CS – 1300 tubular heating elements can optionally be fitted with a hole to accommodate thermocouples. In addition, electric magnetic fields can be compensated with a bifilar winding of the element in order to avoid possible structural changes in metallic and magnetic furnace melts.
Connection tapes are available as accessories for connecting the system, which are led out radially at one end of the pipe.
